Simpy use a re-chargable or solar light, like the one pictured, turn in on to its lowest setting & place it near your tent.

As an example, this light is on its lowest setting & could been seen many meters away, assisting you in the direction of your tent.

Looking back you can see how dark it was!

And ta-da... you've made it back home safely. Using it on its lowest setting is sufficient enough & most of these lights will run for hours.
